A middleweight clash of Canadian Nick Ring and Constantinos Philippou has joined UFC 154 in Montreal. The news comes courtesy of Sportsnet.ca who reported the match-up on Sunday.

Ring (13-1), in his most recent outing at UFC 149, rebounded from the first loss of his career with a unanimous decision win over Court McGee. He has built a 3-1 record inside the octagon which includes wins over Riki Fukuda and James Head.

The surging Philippou (11-2) brings a four fight winning streak into the clash with Ring. He last competed at UFC 148 where he earned a unanimous decision win over Riki Fukuda.

UFC 154 goes down on November 17th from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event is expected to feature the return of welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre who will take on interim champion Carlos Condit.
