The fourth women’s fight in UFC history has officially been revealed as Ontario’s Alexis Davis is scheduled to meet British Roxi Sexton at the UFC 161 event in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The news was announced by UFC officials yesterday afternoon. Davis is coming off two impressive wins under the Invicta FC banner including a “Submission of the Night” win over Shayna Baszler. Having gone 2-1 in Strikeforce with wins over Julie Kedzie and Amanda Nunes before suffering a loss to Sara Kaufman. Although she is yet to be officially scheduled in a match-up, she will be looking to make her mark in the UFC octagon. Sexton is currently riding a three-fight win streak in Cage Warrior Championships and will be looking to extend that to four wins in her UFC debut. Her only two loses came against Gina Carano back in 2006 and Zoila Gurgel in 2010.
