UFC Nick Diaz Strikeforce

UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre has been publicly pulling for Nick Diaz (Pictured) to capture the interim title over Carlos Condit so they can finally settle their beef when he returns from injury. While St-Pierre’s wishes have been great for headlines, Diaz claims GSP is simply putting on a “crazy” front.

“That’s the kind of thing I’m talking about. To me, that’s crazy,” Diaz expressed during Wednesday’s media workouts. “I’m not over here trying to act crazy. I’m straight up, bro. Look into my eyes, you know what I’m saying? I’m not playing no games, you know what I mean?

“[With St-Pierre], that’s an act. That’s crazy. To me, that’s crazy. You going to put on an act like that? Come on, that’s crazy. Where I come from, that’s crazy.”

Just in case you didn’t know, Diaz reps the 209, where St-Pierre’s behavior might be considered a tad cuckoo. While Diaz, who remains one of the most controversial figures in the game, claims to be crazy like a fox.

“People try to say, ‘Oh, Nick Diaz, you know, he’s crazy,’ or ‘He’s crazy’ or ‘He’s not crazy’ or ‘He’s fake crazy’ or whatever, I’m like, hey bro, what you see is what you get,” Diaz said of his take-it-or-leave- it ways. “I’m not out here trying to put on an act like I’m crazy.

“In my opinion, everybody else is crazy out of their mind. They’re the ones putting on an act for you, doing what they’re told in front of the camera. … They turn these guys into these robots. So, you know, maybe some of you there will rethink all this. I’m not trying to put on an act.”

UFC 143 takes place this Saturday inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. If Diaz is able to capture the manufactured crown, would the organization dare have St-Pierre step inside the Octagon to greet him?

Now that would be a CRAZY sight to see.

St-Pierre Rooting for a Diaz Victory at UFC 143

Georges St-Pierre will never be confused with Mike Tyson in terms of venom spewed at his opponents.
