In addition to talking about his next fight with Sakurai and calling American MMA “a ballgame”, Diaz said this of the world’s best welterweight:
Everyone acts like that’s not even a possibility, I say that’s ridiculous. It’s not a possibility because this guy doesn’t want to stand up and fight me.
First of all, if that fight does happen, St. Pierre would DESTROY Nick Diaz. He would outwrestle him, outstrike him, and maybe even armbar him. Okay, maybe not armbar him, but you get my point. Second, in what reality would the Strikeforce welterweight champ and the UFC welterweight champ ever fight? Nick, the fight won’t happen, not because GSP is ducking you, but because you screwed up all the chances you had in the UFC.
