A heavyweight battle between former multi-promotion champion Alistair Overeem and former UFC champion Frank Mir has been added to the UFC's 20th anniversary show. Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal broke the news of this bout being added the the main card of UFC 167 just moments ago. Both heavyweights are currently looking to rebound from some tough losses respectively. Overeem has dropped his last two inside of the Octagon via KO while Mir is dealing with the first three-fight losing streak of his career after a recent loss to Josh Barnett in Milwaukee last weekend. A fight that would've carried heavy title implications just one year ago could now be built as a loser leaves town fight. UFC 167: 'St. Pierre vs. Hendricks' takes place 20 years and four days (7309 days) from the date of the now wildly popular promotions pay-per-view debut which took place inside of  Denver's McNichols Sports Arena, a building that would be demolished just over six years later. So far they've built an impressive lineup to celebrate this historic night come November 16th in Fight City, Nevada. Check out the pay-per-view worthy scraps listed for this show (as it stands today) below. • Welterweight Title Bout: Georges St. Pierre (C) (24-2) vs. Johny Hendricks (15-1) • Light Heavyweight Bout: Rashad Evans (18-3-1) vs. Chael Sonnen (28-13-1) • Heavyweight Bout: Alistair Overeem (36-13) vs. Frank Mir (16-8) • Welterweight Bout: Rory MacDonald (15-1) vs. Robbie Lawler (21-9) • Welterweight Bout: Josh Koscheck (17-7) vs. Tyron Woodley (11-2)
