UFC Canada tweeted the news on Thursday.

Cote (17-7) will fill Rich Franklin’s spot on the card after he was selected to face Wanderlei Silva at UFC 147.

Cote, a former UFC middleweight title challenger, returns to the UFC for the first time since October 2010. Since his departure, Cote has won four consecutive bouts with wins over Kalib Starnes, Todd Brown, Crafton Wallace and Gustavo Machado.

Le (7-2), a former Strikeforce middleweight champion, will be making his second appearance with the UFC. He will be looking to rebound from a second round technical knockout to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 139.

UFC 148 takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 7th. UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will defend his title in a rematch against rival Chael Sonnen.
