Paul Taylor’s lightweight debut against John Gunderson, which was scratched from UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi earlier this month after Taylor suffered “last-minute medical issues” stemming from his weight cut, has been rescheduled for The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale on June 19 in Las Vegas, according to Fighters Only.
Taylor (10-5-1) drops to 155-pounds after going 3-4 in the UFC welterweight division, earning “Fight of the Night” honors in three of his losses before a November loss to John Hathaway sent him to 155-pounds.
Gunderson (22-7), an IFL veteran, had a three-fight win streak snapped with a unanimous decision loss to Rafaello Oliveira in January in his UFC debut.
The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale includes the finals of TUF 11’s middleweight tourney, as well asMatt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine, Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson, Dennis Siver vs. Spencer Fisher, and James McSweeney vs. Travis Browne
