It is rumored that verbal agreements are now in place for a fight between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Stephan Bonnar for some time in 2012.
Bonnar requested this fight via his twitter account following his most recent victory over Kyle Kingsbury at UFC 139 this past weekend.
I’ve always wanted to fight ‘Rampage.’ You know, I’ve got a few wins now and maybe (I can) get a big name (next).
Rampage was then rumored to have txt Dana White following Bonnar’s tweet. Dana told MMAWeekly.com that Jackson was also interested in fighting Bonnar.
“Bonnor [sic] called me out?! I would end his career 4 real,” ”Rampage” Tweeted.
Again just a few hours later Jackson went to his Twitter account…

Well, it appears Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (Pictured) will be granted his wish.
