Some of you might be wondering why I love these UFC video blogs so much. It's simple really. These vlogs are the best opportunity we as fans have to get inside the minds of the people who make this sport what it is. They are teaching tools. After all, Dana White is one of the most successful executives in the world, period, and Randy Couture is himself a multi-faceted professional success. To not watch and to not try to learn (especially when it's free) would be such a waste.
So, while we see much of the same old in Couture's third UFC 102 vlog in the sense that we see Couture make the media rounds and see him go through some final training sessions, grappling and standing up, it's what Couture says about looking into the eyes of his opponent at the very end of the vlog that is the golden nugget that makes these mining expeditions so worth it.
