PLAYERS: Jason Miller
When you’ve been a fan of mixed martial arts for a while, you’re bound to hear a fighter mumble “I’ll retire if I can’t beat this guy,” on more than one occasion. While Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller did say something similar, he’s one of the few who’ve actually done what they said they were going to do. “I said I would, so I am. I’m done for right now.”Jason ‘Mayhem’ MillerClick here to view the embedded video. This statement from the former “TUF” coach is coming on the heels of his unanimous decision loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146, and his subsequent release from the UFC.“Every fighter gives the same answer when they say they’re retired,” said Miller. “Pretty much every fighter says ‘I’m retired until I need money.’ I’m a pretty smart dude, I have other avenues open to me.”No clue if the “right now” means that he’ll wait until another promotion picks him up, or if he’ll stick to his words and continue pursuing his career in reality television. This much is certain, we’ll just have to wait and see.
