Robert Drysdale Wins MMA Debut with First Round Arm Triangle

Decorated grappler and Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt Robert Drysdale successfully made his MMA debut on Saturday, submitting Bastien Huveneers with an arm triangle just over a minute into the opening round at Armageddon Fighting Championships 3 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

In the card’s main event, former UFC fighter Kalib Starnes submitted Nick Hinchliffe with a first-round armbar to win the AFC middleweight title.
