After posting her first successful title defense, Ronda Rousey (Pictured) identified her next mark and made her intentions known. Former Strikeforce featherweight champ Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Santos now sits atop Rousey’s hit list, actually, by the way the “Rowdy” one was talking about Cyborg at the post-fight press conference, she’s had her sights set on the suspended fighter for quite some time.

However, if the blockbuster bout that Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker referred to as “The biggest fight in MMA history” transitions from fantasy to fact, Cyborg will be the one who needs to adjust her weight and jump divisions.

“When [Cyborg] was champion and I knew she was doping, but I couldn’t prove it, that was a situation where I felt I had to go to her. You have to go to the champion,” Rousey stated. “Now the situation is changed. I’m the champion and she was stripped of her title for good reason. She has to come to me [at bantamweight].

“I don’t owe her anything. She needs to fight me more than I need to fight her. I’ve got a line of girls that want to beat me up now. Who else is she going to fight, really?”

Actually, Cyborg isn’t going to be fighting anyone until December 17th at the earliest. That’s when she is eligible to reapply for licensing after testing positive for stanozolol metabolites.

In the meantime, Rousey will just continue snapping arms and taking names.

After disposing of Sarah Kaufman on Saturday, Rousey’s résumé now reads a perfect 6-0 with all of her fights ending in 1stRound armbar submission fashion.
