Shane Carwin has blown out his knee and will unfortunately have to bow out of his main event bout with Roy Nelson at the TUF Live Finale.
The news came Wednesday afternoon via UFC President Dana Whiteâs Twitter Account.

MMASucka.com caught up with Carwinâs manager Jason Genet of Ingrained Media and he told us that he hadÂ re-injured his knee.
He called me this morning to let me know that he had re-injured his knee and that he was not going to be able to make the Dec. 15th fight. Â I called Joe Silva and informed him pretty muchÂ immediately. Â
The injury bug has plagued the UFC this year and Silva has been forced to find late replacements on numerousÂ occasions. Lucky enough, Genet informed him so quickly after the injury happened.
