I scream all the time about how WEC fighter do not get paid nearly enough compared to their UFC counterparts. However, at least they salaries make sense. They are scaled down, but every single fighter’s is scaled down. Check out some of these absurd numbers from last saturday’s Strikeforce card. Babalu Sobral makes 75,000 in a loss, but the man that beat him Gegard Mousasi makes only 2 grand with no win bonus. We all expected Gina Carano to get paid more than Cyborg, but 100,000 more? Here’s the full list, courtesy of Sherdog. Strikeforce “Carano vs. Cyborg” Payscale Cristiane Santos –- $25,000 (including $5,000 win bonus) Def.
