Tim Silvia will fight 5-time world’s strongest man champion. Mariusz Pudzianowski, on friday night in Mass. the Moosin: God of Martial Arts event will air live on pa-per-view.

Silvia was approached with the fight and was quick to accept it. Even though he holds multiple world’s strongest man titles, Sylvia, a 2-time UFC champ, says MMA is a whole other animal.

“I think he might think he’s better than he is,” Sylvia said. “A lot people are Monday morning quarterback types. They see the sport and say, ‘I’m a tough guy. I can do that.’ In his case it’s, ‘I’m the strongest man in the world. I can do that.’ They just don’t realize how tough the sport really is until they get hit.”

Tim Sylvia obviously has the advantage no matter where the fight goes, however, 2-0 in his pro career, Mariusz Pudzianowski is not only the worlds strongest man, but undefeated. I know it’s only 2-0 but to a guy with an ego like the worlds strongest man probably has, might as well be 100-0. If Pudzianowski, by whatever means, wins this fight, I wouldn’t put it past the UFC or Strikeforce to give him a shot.
