Welterweight challenger Thiago Alves, who meats UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre on July 11th at UFC 100, has predicted he’ll shock the world with a knockout of GSP in a recent interview with MMAjunkie:

“I’m not just going to win, I’m going to knock him out. I’m going to shock the world. You have to do this for a reason. I want to make history. At (UFC) 100 I have a chance to make history, and I will make history. I promise you that. I’ve been asking for it, and you get in life what you ask for.”
