On Saturday, November 21st, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Ortiz and Griffin will finally meet again in the co-main event of UFC 106: Lesnar vs. Carwin. This long-awaited rematch came about when Ortiz' original opponent for UFC 106, Hall of Famer Mark Coleman, was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a MCL tear in his knee suffered during training camp. Stepping into the bout is Griffin, who is looking for redemption against Ortiz after losing a razor thin split decision to "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on April 15, 2006.
