According to Tatame.com, an undisclosed injury has forced Dennis Hallman out of his “UFC on FOX 3” fight against Tony Ferguson (Pictured). As we all know fully well, the Octagon show waits for no man, as Thiago Tavares has agreed to serve as a substitute.
Ferguson has rattled off two straight wins inside the Octagon since taking “The Ultimate Fighter 13″ tournament. He was last seen in December posting a decision victory over Yves Edwards.
Tavares has rejuvenated his UFC career by posting consecutive victories over Spencer Fisher and Sam Stout, respectively. The Brazilian is now 4-1-1 over his past six scraps.
The May 5th event takes place inside IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. A lightweight affair between Nate Diaz and Jim Miller will headline the festivities.
