HotNonPorn:
What happened at UFC 101 has shaken up my predicted post-UFC 98 pound-for-pound Top 5, so here are my updated rankings.

1. Anderson Silva : Toyed with Forrest Griffin like a true kung fu master. The most awe-inspiring martial artist since Bruce Lee. So dominant in the middleweight division that there's talk of his moving up permanently to light heavweight. Holds 10-0 record in UFC, including 8-0 against middleweights.
2. Lyoto Machida : His combination of untouchability, brutality and undefeated record made him the top pound-for-pound fighter after UFC 98 in my eyes, but has been one-upped by The Spider's UFC 101 showcase.
3. Georges St. Pierre : Has "come back" full circle after giving Thiago Alves a five-round whupping at UFC 100. Losses to Matts Hughes and Serra officially forgotten.
4. Brock Lesnar : In just five MMA fights, has demolished two former UFC champions, a very good fighter and defended his title with a bang.
5A. BJ Penn : St. Pierre was too big for him, but with systematic destruction of Kenny Florian, proved himself to be by far the greatest lightweight in MMA.
5B. Fedor Emelianenko : Not getting to fight Josh Barnett wasn't his fault, but by signing with Strikeforce instead of UFC, is not testing himself against the best heavyweights.
