UFC 134 Bonuses: Nogueira, Barboza, Pearson

The UFC issued $100,000 bonuses to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Edson Barboza, and Ross Pearson for their efforts at UFC 134. Nogueira earned “knockout of the night” for his comeback victory over Brendan Schaub Saturday night. Barboza and Pearson were expected to provide a “fight of the night” candidate and did not disappoint. Their technical stand-up battle created a razor thin decision on the scorecards but also earned each fighter $100,000. As there were no submissions on the card there was no “submission of the night.” Attendence numbers were not given for the raucous crowd at the post-fight conference but it is likely those numbers may become availible later in the week.
