Is the main event for the casual fan? Not really. Is the card stacked for the casual fan? Of course. Usually the main event is used to bring in the casual fan, but the UFC realized that since this was the finale out of their four week run, they slacked at promoting UFC 139 for the fans. Mainly because UFC on FOX 1 was that damn important last weekend.
Let's just say there will not be as many viewers this week as there was last week, but the entertainment value will far surpass the biggest event in UFC history. Each of these fights on the man card could win fight of the night. Hopefully that potential is reached for the 200,000 - 300,000 of people who pay for it on Pay Per View, also the 1,000,000 of UFC fans who watch a free UFC 139 stream online Saturday night.
