Capping off the FX portion of tomorrow's UFC 155 card is a treat for fight fans across the universe. Two UFC Bantamweights will look to make their case for a shot at the title in 2013 by hopefully making a big enough statement to force some more pay-per-view buys with just "One Punch".

The Records: Brad Pickett: 22-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC

Eddie Wineland: 19-8-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC

What Have You Done For Me Lately?

Pickett: He's won 12 of his last 14, the two defeats coming via Scott Jorgensen and Renan Barao. All 3 of his UFC fights have brought him bonus checks, the last being a stunning KO of the night performance over Yves Jabouin in Nottingham that forced the Guy Ritchie fan to go Gangnam while his opponent lay unconscious.

Wineland: Before the WEC closed up shop and everyone started packing for the UFC, Wineland treated fans to two of the more deadly KO's in the history of the promotion. He stopped Will Campuzano with a liver shot at WEC 49, then one upped himself at the WEC's 53rd and final event by KO slamming Ken Stone. A 3-0 2010 campaign for Eddie Wineland sent him into the UFC as a top Bantamweight contender. Wineland cooled down a bit in 2011. If his two straight losses to Team Alpha Male's Urijah Faber and Joseph Benavidez set him back a bit, then his straight right followed by flurry of hands to the face that put Scott Jorgensen away at this past summer's UFC on FX 3 show put him right back on track.

Key Victims:

Pickett: Vaughan Lee, Demetrious Johnson, Ivan Menjivar, Damacio Page, and Yves Jabouin.

Wineland: Antonio Banuelos, George Roop, Will Campuzano, and Scott Jorgensen.

The Odds:

Pickett: These two have been even at -115 for a while now but just over night a slight movement on this line took place. Pickett is currently sitting at -110.

Wineland: He's your current favorite by just a hair at -120.

What's at Stake?

Pickett: The dangerous "Square Mile" born fighter wants his revenge against Renan Barao. This is his chance to get it. A win over Wineland puts Pickett back at the front of the line for a title shot whether it be Barao's interim strap or Cruz's dusty old belt whenever he returns to action. A loss to Wineland puts Pickett at .500 in his last 6 bouts, it's do or die time for the 34-year-old.

Wineland: Eddie is in a funny spot that some of the best names in the business find themselves in at one point or another during their careers. He either beats Pickett and gets a shot at whomever is the top 135'er sometime next year, or he losses and becomes a fighter who's dropped 3 of his last 4, albeit against a top 5 opponent every single time.

Prediction:

With both fighters possessing a brutal combination of power and accuracy, it's tough to imagine this one ending with both men standing upright. On a fight card filled with bonus machines like Joe Lauzon, Leonard Garcia, and Chris Leben - this one stands out to me as one destined to line pockets. Neither man is susceptible to the knockout so although heavy leather will be exchanged early and often, the likelihood of a KO lessens due to the granite chins each of these men wear.  After a thrilling 1st Round good enough to earn Fight of the Night honors I see Pickett stunning Wineland with a shot that puts him down, but not out. Knowing how tough of a finish Wineland is via strikes, Pickett sinks his hooks in and chokes out his opponent earning the submission and putting him one step closer to UFC gold. photo props - @seanshelby
