Former UFC Champ Matt Hughes is currently being investigated by police. The fighter allegedly engaged in a bar fight at the Trails End Bar and Grill in Taylor Springs, Illinois.
Sources inside the bar say an argument started between Hughes and another male at the bar, an incident that led to “forceful shoving.”
During the scuttle a female patron says Hughes pushed the man into her, causing her to break her nose.
The news comes just weeks after UFC president Dana White announced that Diego Sanchez would fight Hughes in a soon to be named venue.
Hughes was knocked out by BJ Penn in 21 seconds on November 20, 2010.
