Erik Koch took on Ricardo Llamas in a Featherweight bout on the undercard of UFC on Fox 6 at the United Center in Chicago on Saturday night. After a fairly quiet first round, Lamas registered a takedown on Koch in the second. Once Lamas got on top of Koch and started hammering away with elbows, he turned Koch’s face into ground chuck, scoring a TKO and ruining the Saturday night dinners of millions of TV viewers.
After enough blood poured from Koch, the referee waived off the fight, giving Lamas a huge victory and perhaps saving Koch’s life.
Before the fight, all tweeters could text about was Erik Koch’s orange glow from his fake bake bronzing.

One of the biggest upsets on the UFC on FOX 6 card came in the opening fight on the main card as Ricardo Lamas cut Erik Koch open in the second round and secured a TKO moments later. The first main card bout of UFC on FOX 6 did not disappoint the hardcore fight fans.
It took just 2:32 for Ricardo Lamas to bloody up Erik Koch and force the referee stoppage. Lamas slipped early in the round and Koch tried to pounce, however ended up on the bottom. This was the beginning of the end for Koch, as Lamas dropped down some serious punches and elbows from the top.
