UFC: Kampmann or Swick Next Up For GSP

UFC President Dana White has verbally confirmed that the winner of the Martin Kampmann-Mike Swick fight at UFC 103 will determine the No. 1 welterweight contender and the next to fight Georges St. Pierre. “Wherever we go, fans know UFC delivers great fights,” UFC president Dana White said. “Mike Swick vs. Martin Kampmann could be fight of the night at UFC 103 because the winner takes on Georges St. Pierre for the welterweight title.” UFC 103 takes place this September and it is unknown when the next welterweight title fight will take place. St. Pierre injured his groin at UFC 100 and the extent of the injury and recovery time needed is not known at this point.
