It took 43 minutes and 54 seconds for Frankie Edgar to find some closure in regards to his ongoing rivalry with Gray "The Bully" Maynard. Now that these two adversaries sit at 1-1-1 after three tilts one has to ask, was it really complete closure? Expect Edgar vs. Maynard IV to happen in the not so distant future if Maynard keeps winning.
Frankie Edgar will once again defend his Lightweight Title on February 25th against Ben "Smooth" Henderson in Japan. Expect plenty of coverage right here in the following couple weeks to close out this month.

Contrary to what Nam Phan tweeted last month, he won’t be replacing injured Leonard Garcia to fight Tiequan Zhang at UFC 144. Instead, the organization announced Issei Tamura has agreed to serve as a last-minute substitute to face Zhang inside Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
No word on why Phan was unable to provide the “Asian on Asian crime” he had promised less...
