UFC president Dana White today announced on his Twitter account today that an injury has forced Mark Munoz to withdraw from his fight on UFC on FOX 2. He was originally scheduled to fight with Chael Sonnen (26-11-1) for a chance to fight Anderson Silva at a later date.

Dana White announced via Twitter that Mark Munoz has withdrawn from his number one contender fight with Chael Sonnen due to injury. Michael Bisping will now take Munoz’s place at UFC on Fox 2 on January 28th, with the winner going on to fight Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
