According to PWInsider.com, WWE officials pulled Champion CM Punk from the recent UFC on FOX special with Chael Sonnen because when Punk asked for time off, he didn’t specify that it was to appear on TV for UFC.

Dana White has just announced at the UFC 143 post-fight press conference that the much-anticipated fight between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen for the Middleweight Title has been verbally agreed to by both fighters.
