At the UFC on FOX 4 post-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White announced that Joe Lauzon, Jamie Varner and Mike Swick earned $50,000 bonuses.
Lauzon earned two bonuses totaling $100,000 for his “Fight of the Night” performance with Jamie Varner as well as his “Submission of the Night”. Lauzon submitted Varner in the third round by triangle choke. Lauzon has now won ten fight night bonuses, tying Chris Lytle for the most all time.
After a long layoff due to injuries and illness, Mike Swick returned with a brutal second-round knockout of DaMarques Johnson earning him the “Knockout of the Night” bonus.
