When it was first announced, no one really knew how UFC on Fox would play out. Would it be like NBC’s Saturday Fights? Would the UFC treat it like a PPV but on network TV? The growing pains were obvious for the UFC as the first few cards were rather weak. But as they’ve progressed, the cards have improved as have the fighters involved. Tonight, is one of the more exciting cards since UFC has had events on Fox. With Rampage Jackson, Anthony Pettis, Demetrius Johnson and Donald Cerrone, to name a few, tonight’s card looks packed with well-known fighters and some rising stars.
Tonight’s card features former WEC champions, former UFC champions and some great match-ups. Demetrius “Mighty Mouse” Johnson facing off against “The Magician” John Dodson is the main event. Rampage seemed humbled by what Glover did to him last night and who knows what’s next for Rampage, but it’s clear he can’t hang with the upper level fighters in the division. Still entertaining and always a draw, someone will pay him to fight.
