Water cooler talk this morning in this post UFC on FOX 6 world may have centered around Glover Teixeira and Anthony Pettis putting themselves in line for the title in their respective divisions. But it was Chicago born "Bully" Ricardo Lamas that made the biggest noise on the night, and that noise you heard was his hellbows bashing in the face of former #1 featherweight contender Erik Koch.
Maybe it's just some sort of strange "scheduled to fight Jose Also but fight gets delayed" sort of curse. First it was John Grispi, now Erik Koch. Lamas took Koch and sent him to the back of the line in the opening televised FOX bout Saturday night with a finish so vicious that "Big" John McCarthy was forced to step in. If he had waited a couple of seconds longer young boys and girls around the world surfing channels may have been in for a nightmarish weekend with Ricardo Lamas appearing as their own personal sandman. Check out the highlights below, if you dare. ...

One of the biggest upsets on the UFC on FOX 6 card came in the opening fight on the main card as Ricardo Lamas cut Erik Koch open in the second round and secured a TKO moments later. The win was Lamas’s fourth straight at featherweight and will likely put him in contention for a title shot against the winner between Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo.
Koch sent out a tweet of his injured...
If Donald Cerrone doesn’t land that knee this might have been the best KO of all time. S/O to Cagepotato for the heads up.

Here are my opinions on what should be next for Demetrious Johnson (17-2-1), Ricardo Lamas (13-2), Anthony Pettis (16-2) and Glover Teixeira (20-2). First let’s start with the current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious [...]
In last night’s UFC on FOX 6 rising featherweight star Ricardo Lamas proved he was deserving of all the hype after he completely dismantled top contender Erik Koch. Lamas punished Koch with a devastating series of punches and elbows to get a second-round TKO in the cards opening bout on FOX. After landing some vicous strikes [...]
After a night of freebie MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Anthony Pettis (Pictured), Ryan Bader, Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson each an additional $50,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC on FOX: Johnson vs. Dodson.”
Pettis earned ‘Knockout of the Night’ by unleashing his leg in Donald Cerrone’s ribs.
It took Bader all of 50 seconds...
UFC on FOX 6 was held this past Saturday at the United Center in Chicago and things got a bit weird. This little man in the crowd had a few too many Coors Lights, started jamming to Whitesnake, performed a sort-of striptease and eventually passed out cold in his seat.
Obviously the big story coming out of the event was Erik Koch being turned into a bloody pulp, so it makes sense...

A few moments later Lamas...
