
The California State Athletic Commission has medically suspended seven “UFC on FOX: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos” fighters for various injuries sustained in their respective scraps this past Saturday.
Although he was only in the Octagon for 64 seconds of action, former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez (Pictured) will be forced to ride the pine for 45 days for precautionary purposes following his knockout loss to Junior dos Santos.
Three of the card’s athletes can be sidelined for up to six months with wounds.
The Honda Center in Anaheim hosted this weekend’s show.
