The UFC has not taken their talents back to Minneapolis since UFC 87 in August of 2008, so the Octagon is long overdue for a comeback. Thankfully for fight fans located in T-Wolves country, “UFC on FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot” will end the drought on October 5th.

Target Center in Minneapolis will host the festivities.

“Travis Browne is undefeated in his career and wants to prove that he’s ready for a shot at the title,” UFC president Dana White said. “He’s got a tough test in front of him in ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, who’s beaten two former UFC champions and also finished Fedor. I’m excited to finally get back to Minneapolis and I’m confident this card is going to deliver for the fans at the Target Center!”

Four fights will appear in the main card, which FX will be broadcasting live beginning at 9PM PET/6PM PT. A five-round heavyweight affair between Travis Browne and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva headlines the show.

A 265-pound bout with Matt Mitrione and Rob Broughton serves as the night’s co-featured attraction.

Here is the event’s current roster:

Preliminary Card:

Tim Means Welcomes Abel Trujillo

Darren Uyenoyama vs. Louis Gaudinot

Bart Palaszewski vs. Diego Nunes

Carlo Prater vs. Marcus LeVesseur

Mike Pierce vs. Aaron Simpson

Main Card:

Justin Edwards vs. Josh Neer

Jussier da Silva vs. John Dodson

Matt Mitrione vs. Rob Broughton

Travis Browne vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva
