Pacman Jonesin':
A few days ago I claimed that the UFC 76 Chuck Liddell-Wanderlei Silva UFC match-up was the beginning of the end for the sport of
ballroom jabbing. Yesterday, Silva backed out and is now ducking Liddell… again. While boxing is still in trouble, this is terrible news for theUFC and its fans. Liddell-Silva had the potential to be the biggest MMA fight of all time. Now, it looks like it will never happen. At least we get to hear Chuck talk a little smack on that Sagat-lookin' fool (I don't even like Chuck, but he needs to give Silva the Clubber Lang treatment).

With all the momentun the MMA world is getting, the last thing UFC needs is a bigger name to back out of a easily promoteable fight.

I would have loved to see Silva "Fuck Chuck", but i guess it'll have to wait. but i'm still hopeful in MMA's other big name to jump into the octagon, Fedor Emelianenko. I think the UFC can deal without Silva, he's on his way down and he's definitely not a top 5 light heavy weight contender. This would have been the fight of the year in 2006. I would rather see Chuck fight Shogun. which is more of a possibility if Shogun gets passed Lyoto machida.
