The injury bug strikes again! With just nine days remaining until the curtain is drawn on the Octagon’s final FOX show of 2012, UFC president Dana White announced Lavar Johnson (Pictured) will be forced to exit stage left with a groin injury.
Johnson was slated to battle Brendan Schaub in a preliminary bout, which was slated to headline the FX broadcast. No word on what the promotion...

The featured FX bout between Brendan Schaub and Lavar Johnson has been scratched for now, as Johnson has pulled out of the fight due to a pulled groin.
UFC President Dana White tweeted out the injury late Thursday evening.
Lavar Johnson is out of the FOX prelims with a pulled groin. He was fighting Brendan Schaub.
No word as to if the organization is searching for a replacement opponent...
