On Friday night Bellator returned to action with Bellator 72 and featured the debut of British striker Paul Daley.
The main event featured the final for the season six welterweight tournament. Karl Amoussou def. Bryan Baker to win a a future shot at champion Ben Askren and $100,000.

The fighters taking part in Friday’s Bellator 72 event hit the scales today in the official fighter weigh-ins.
The weigh-ins took place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. which is the same venue as Friday’s event.
