Matt Mitrione is one of those guys who has had every single fight in his career in the UFC. Not many people can say that, but Mitrione was ready for a baptism by fire when he joined the Ultimate FIghter season 10 house with such heavyweights as Roy Nelson (whom he recently lost to) and Kimbo Slice (who he became the second man to defeat). Some love “Meathead” and his fast learning and surprisingly intelligent outlook to the fight game, while others think he’s, well, a Meathead. I’m the type of guy who likes him. Mitrione started out with Duke Roufus and co, and has traveled the world looking for the best training possible. Hot off a 19-second knockout of Phil de Fries, Mitrione doesn’t want to rest on his laurels, he come to California to study the art of catch wrestling with the legendary Erik Paulson and Josh Barnett, whom he may face in the UFC one day.
