The two-time Bellator featherweight tournament semifinalist is giving it another go. This time Reis is hoping he can advance to the finals, something that's eluded him thus far in his Bellator career.
"I came up short in the first two tournaments and this is my chance to make things right," Reis said in a press release. "I absolutely believe that I can win it and that's why I decided to get involved this time around. I'm going to give it all I have, take it one fight at a time and in every fight, do my best."
Reis has lost by unanimous decision twice in the featherweight semifinals. The first defeat was at the hands of Joe Soto, who would go on to win Bellator's inaugural featherweight tournament. Then last May, Reis dropped another unanimous decision to Patricio Freire, who would eventually lose to Joe Warren in the finals.
