At one time Mark Hominick was the hottest up and coming featherweight fighter in the world. Before the WEC merged with the UFC, Hominick was riding a five fight winning streak with notable wins over Bryan Caraway and Leonard Garcia. Hominick’s first fight in the UFC was a title eliminator (meaning the winner got to fight for the title)
