today were gonna do something different. Were gonna let some top riders walk you through some of there very technical-mind blowing tricks. First up is Dustin miller. Dustin is gonna give you a rundown of a nofooted NAC NAC one hander. If you think it sounds hard wait till you see it. Take it away dustin.
Ok, well I've crashed a few times on this trick, and it scares me, but...
Step 1...approach the ramp at an angle like you would for a whip or a nac nac. You want to use the motion of the bike swinging out lightly to get your feet into double nac position. Since your hand will be coming off you cant push off the pegs like you would normally, for a double nac.
Step 2...as you leave the top of the ramp swing into the double nac. Start to take your right hand off while keeping your left elbow bent and a firm grip on the bars. If you straighten your left arm your going to be hurting. Work to get the right arm off farther with practice. I generally try to put it parallel with my body, rather than up, because its easier to stay in control and do it bigger. Be careful because that also causes your legs to swing around the front of the bike.
Step 3...grab onto the bars with your right hand. Careful not to snag your front brake with a wild swinging arm. I always try to catch my bars with my hand before doing anything with my feet. To stay more in control. Then swing you leg back over the seat.
STep 4. Hopefully your not skidding on your side at this point. Land. Take your right hand off again, grab a beer and be glad you just pulled one of the hardest tricks in FMX.
Well there you have it. If you wanna be an fmx bad boy you better learn this trick, and if you do your cooler then me because i dont have any intentions of trying it anytime soon....You can witness this trick about 45 seconds into the video below
