Four More Players To Play For the Diamond Dawgs This Summer

The Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs of the NYCBL will open their 2009 season at home on the 5th of June. Dexter Kelley, Chris Peters, Mike Mason and Jordan Cannon are just four of the exciting players that will be appearing in Little Falls this summer.Dexter Kelley (Savannah State) is a sophomore outfielder from Atlanta. He is currently hitting .287 in 150 at-bats this year. He leads the team with 9 homers, 42 runs scored, 41 rbi's and 28 stolen bases. He is quite the base stealer, as he has only been thrown out 6 times this season.Chris Peters (Cincinnati) is a sophomore from Tipp City, OH. The 5-9/158 pound infielder is currently hitting .236 in 140 at-bats this year. He has scored 24 runs and has walked 24 times this year.Mike Mason (Marshall) is a 6-1/193 pound freshman from Maumee, OH.
