getty images The president of 5-Hour Energy is not ready to give an answer as to whether or not they will continue to provide sponsorship in NASCAR. Scott Henderson, president of the energy shot company, blasted NASCAR. ”We’ll see how the year plays out,” said Henderson. Michael Waltrip said Friday he expected 5-Hour Energy to remain with his team for next season but Henderson’s comments seem to suggest no decision has been made. ”There’s a lot of talk about integrity,” Henderson said, via the Associated Press. ”When the guy who’s in charge can say, ‘I can do whatever I want and I’m going to do it and I just did,’ I wonder about integrity. I want to make sure we can win in this sport, OK?” Henderson then walked off but his comments are undoubtedly fired at Brian France, CEO and chairman of NASCAR.
