Brad Keselowski is focusing on winning the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup. Thus the driver of the No. 2 Dodge for Penske Racing is opting to skip the upcoming Nationwide Series race at Kansas. Keselowski is currently leading the Sprit Cup driver standings and after running the Nationwide schedule almost entirely the last two years had scaled back his number of races. Ryan Blaney will assume the driving duties of the No. 22 Dodge. Blaney recently signed a developmental contract with Penske Racing and has been driving Keselowski’s truck in the Camping World Truck Series. Keselowski will decide the rest of scheduled Nationwide races at a later date. Seven races remain in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
