Brian Vickers will take over the seat of the No. 55 Toyota for 12 of the remaining 13 races on the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule. Mark Martin who was scheduled to drive in some of the races will fill in as the driver of the No. 14 car of Stewart Hass Racing with Tony Stewart sidelined for the rest of the season. The move is unsurprising considering Vickers, who won at New Hampshire, was announced as the full-time driver of the No. 55 car for Michael Waltrip Racing next season. Michael Waltrip will drive the No. 55 car at Talladega. Vickers has recorded three top-ten finishes in nine races this season. With the move to SHR, Martin will run in 12 of the 13 remaining races of the season. Austin Dillon has signed on to run at Talladega.
