He started fifth and claimed the victory in the Nov. 12, 2011 Wypall 200 for his first major NASCAR win. Hornish came back in the March Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 to start sixth and finish sixth. If Brad Keselowski wants the title, he'd better start winning -- now

Brad Keselowski was right on the money in most of what he said Sunday night, but he was dead wrong about the one thing that might matter most.   Keselowski was right about the nature of the racing in the AAA Texas 500. It was breathtaking. After the next-to-last restart in the AAA Texas 500, Keselowski refused to give up the lead, taking his car and Johnson's to the very...

Johnson, Keselowski is tight Chase

In the first 100 laps of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday, which were caution free, drivers cycled through two sets of green-flag pit stops and it looked like Jimmie Johnson was in his own zip code. But as was probably to be expected, in the last 55 laps there were four cautions and that just was enough to give guys opportunities to make adjustments on their...

What a Weekend of NASCAR Racing we had at Texas

With the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship down to Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski there is only so much you can say about them week to week.  That leaves me and I bet a lot of other race fans with nothing but other thoughts in their heads.  Many of these lead to [...]
