But occasionally things don’t go according to plan, and real life intervenes. The events of the past week in this country definitely have placed racing on the back-burner for the majority of America and for good reason. I haven’t updated Sicknissified.com for the last few days because honestly I was captivated by the manhunt for the terrorists who bombed the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring numerous others. Those killed and injured, and their families have been on my mind a lot, and my heart aches for them — and to be blunt it seemed a little wrong
