Indy Sports 360 NASCAR preview

The NASCAR series is getting very close to starting another marathon season of fast cars, big wrecks and amazing drama.  The Daytona 500, the series’ biggest event, is set to drop the green flag on February 26th.  Are you ready? After a very exciting off-season, the headlines going in to the Sprint Cup Series are aplenty.  Drivers changing rides, sponsors dropping out of the series completely and there were even some schedule changes. Red Bull is officially out of NASCAR.  Former owners and sponsors of the #4, #83 and #84 are no longer and only one of those drivers have found a new home.  Kasey Kahne, as expected, moved over to the Hendrick stable to steer the #5, but Brian Vickers is still without a ride, as is Scott Speed and everyone else that drove the #84.  Kahne is expected to capitalize on having Hendrick horsepower and could become an immediate contender for the Sprint Cup.
