Johnson talked about the disappointment of losing the title in 2012 after engine troubles ended his day early. Newman talked about his third place finish and the momentum it’ll bring his team for 2013. And Bowyer reflected on finishing second not only in the race, but also in the final standings. Honestly, as much as people wanted to build up the storyline that Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer were not done with each other after their altercation at Phoenix, with NASCAR coming down on them a little bit this week it seemed clear it would not continue at Homestead.
