Brad Keselowski has 35 wins and two championships in his NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series careers, but he has yet to ever visit victory lane in a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Thursday at Texas Motor Speedway he paced the final practice session for Friday night’s WinStar World Casino 350.
Keselowski’s fast lap was 181.446 mph, which bested the man who won the truck series race at this track back in June — Jeb Burton.
For Keselowski, frustration has mounted in his 58 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts. He has five second-place finishes in the Series and a third place finish since 2010. This may be his best shot yet at a victory in the Series.
Truck Series point leader Matt Crafton was third-fastest, Miguel Paludo was fourth and Ty Dillon rounded out the top-five fastest in final practice.
