Lyn-Z Pastrana wins better half dash

Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins Pastrana, the wife of Travis Pastrana, won the Better Half charity race held before pole night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Lyn-z is  a professional skateboarder and eight-time X Games medalist.The race pitted wives and girlfriends of NASCAR drivers against each other in Bandolero cars for a 25-lap race.The racing got competitive quickly with Adriene Pattie, the wife of Clint Bowyer crew chief Brian Pattie, flipping her car midway through the race. Her car had to be towed off the course. She would be checked out but was fine.Pastrana received $10,000 for the charity of her choice.Last years winner Jacquelyn Butler, the fiancee of NASCAR driver David Ragan, finished second.Photo credit: Harold Hinson
